1.19 STANION RC - Rust converter |
Description :
STANION RC is a chemical Rust Converter which also
serves a protective black coating. The
best paint even cannot give full protection if
they are supplied on metal surface which is not
rust free. Durability of paint film
depends upon the quality of surface to be
painted and quality of paint. Various rust
removing methods as sand blasting, flame
cleaning, wire Brushing grinding by abrasives
are not only expensive but time
consuming.
Moreover, they expose the bare metal again to
instantaneous corrosion and rust may appear
before primer coating is applied.
The applications of STANION RC has a triple action on
rust :
- It penetrates through all rust layers.
- By reaching with all rust layers & converting them to metalic
organic compound of hard and black nature.
- Stabilizes and binds the rust layer into a 100 % protective
natural coat.

Compatibility Of Paint :
It is compatible with all types of paints. The
paint coat can be applied after 12 hrs. after
application of STANION RC though it dries
within ½ to 1 hr. depending upon the atmosphere
conditions.
Method of Application :
It is directly applied on the items of Iron &
Steel surface whether rusty or non - rusty ,
but if surface is greasy, oily or dirty it may
be cleaned and removed by Emulsion in
order to ensure smooth application of STANION
RC. No water rinsing is required. Paints applied
over the coating of Stanion RC is 2 to 3 times more
durable than applied on rusty surface. No
special equipment is needed and little
labour is required.

1.20 DESCALE PL - Descaling compound
: Saf acid |
Description :
DESCALE PL is a very effective acidic composition to
remove scale and rust from evaprators and other
heat exchange equipment. It is inhibited against
the attack on stainless steel and other ferrous
metals. It is very effective to remove silica scales
also.
Application :
DESCALE
PL is normally used at concentrations varying
from 10g/lit to 50g/lt depending upon the
degree of contaminations. A quality equivalent
to be about half the total volume of equipment
should be used. The solution should be made up and
heated upto 70 - 75 ºC and then recirculated within
the equipment. Care must be taken to ensure that the
vents are given as the Gases are formed during
descaling when the colour of solution changes to
light yellow, more acid should be added to maintain
the strength of solution. Once the solution becomes
saturated, the fresh solution may be made and
procedure to be repeated. After descaling, the
systems should be neutralised with an alkaline
solution of about 2.5 Kgs. Soda ash per 100Ltr.
solution.
Leave neutralising solution to stand for 30 min. after
treatment. To remove rust scales, use 10%
Descale PL with 5% salt at 50 - 60 ºC.
Chemical Properties :
Descale PL is based on sulfamic acid and combined with wetting agent and corrosion inhibitor. Addition of colour coding agent serves

1.21 DESCALE SS - Cooling water descaling
compound |
Description :
It is mainly used for descaling of water scale deposits from distillation units, cooling system and such other equipments containing different types of metal particularly of stainless steel, brass
and copper. It is based on defer acid which is not harmful in
working than the other mineral acids like hydrochloric acid or Sulphuric acid. It is a inhibited composition and hence it can be used
for ferrous metals and Aluminium. It does not require neutralising
after cleaning.
Application :
By hot soaking or circulation.
Strength of solution required :
5 to 20% by volume depending upon the type Of job.
Time of Soaking :
4 to 8 hours for removal of heavy scales.
Time of circulation of descaling solution :
2 to 4 hours for removal of this scales & rust. 6 to 8 hours for removal; of thick scales & oxides.
Temperature of Circulation : Upto 160ºF for 10 % V/V solution.
Equipment For Circulation Of Descaling Solution :
Any Cast Iron or Stainless Steel pump with PVC pipe connections
attached with Motor. For preparing solution, any tank or drum will be suitable.

STRIPPER NC – 2 - Solvent based descaling
compound |
Description :
STRIPPER NC 2 is a highly effective blend of organic
solvents and penetrating agents used for
removing automobile paints , synthetic enamels ,
Industrial Paints etc. within the minutes of its
application. The paint’s wrinkles are formed which
can be scrapped off or flushed off with water.
Field of Application :
Automobile Industry, Garages, Paint shops, Defence,
Aviation, Shipping Industry, Railways etc.
Method Of Application :
STRIPPER NC 2 is brushed on the surface within few
minutes the paint forms wrinkles which can be
easily removed by scrapping off. Once the surface is
free from the paint wash the surface free from waxy
material oil etc. Then thoroughly dry the surface
before repainting.

Caution :
STRIPPER NC 2 is non corrosive to skin but physical burning
sensation would exist and hence all Precautions are to be observed to
avoid direct contact with skin, eyes etc. Care must be taken while
opening the container as liquid might be under pressure and will splash, on suddenly opening. The container should be kept away from direct
sunlight or heat. In case of accidental contact with skin, first wipe the
skin with dry cloth and then wash it with soap and plenty of water.

1.23 DELTAFUEL - Pre & Post treatment
of furnace oil |
Introduction :
The fuel available in India at present contains high percentage of sulphur. It is observed that the increasing percentage of sulphur is responsible for high rate of cylinder wear. Fuel oil or back residual oils are cheapest fuel oils which contains plenty of impuriies, mainly of sulphur and vanadium. During combustion, the sulphur in fuel oil is converted to sulphur which in turn is converted to sulphur trioxide in presence of vanadium which acts as the catalyst. The small amount of moisture present in fuel oil converts the sulphur trioxide to sulphuric acid and the corrosion by inhibiting sulphur and vanadium compound.

- Prevention of organic precipitate or Sludge.
- Dispersion of organic sediments.
- Burners free of carbon.
- Less or no smoke.

1.24 DELTRAN MS 2 - Boiler Water Treatment

Description :
DELTRAN MS 2 is a product based on the blend of
various poly - Phosphates. The poluphosphates
show a synergic effect to reduction of hardness by
dequestration as well as keeping the scale forming
irons in solution. It is specially meant for potable
water addition as it shows no carry over with stand.
The polyphosphates are not the toxic materials for
human beings as well as animals and aquarians.

1.25 OXINOL HH - Oxygen scavenger |
Description :
OXINOL HH is a corrosion inhibitor to be used to control corrosion of feed water lines and condensate lines. This product also prevents the formation of copperoxide and iron oxide, inide boiler. OXINOL HH reduces hamalite to form a protective magnetite which can be removed from the boiler at the time of blow down. This would reduce the built up of normal sludge thus reducing the possibility of sludge accumulation in the boiler. OXINOL HH contains a catalyst that enhances the reaction rates even at ambient temperatures which reacts with free oxygen in water.

DELCOOL – 2000 - Cooling water treatment |
Introduction :
Reliability and performance of a Diesel Engine,
particularly on the rigs and vessels in the Offshore
Operations are of paramount importance. Essentially,
in any circumstances the engines have to be dependable
as instant source of powder. Cooling systems of a
diesel engine is an infallable and critical organ. It
is the ‘lung’ of the engine and should never fail
to respond on demand. However the quality and
suitablility of Cooling Water ultimately governs
working and dependability of diesel engine system.
Poor and uncontrolled quality of the Cooling Water
will thus affect the engine and will cause damage and
failure.
A few engineers and managers understand this and still
a fewer implement to use right quality of Cooling
Water.
Investigation :
Continous use of poor quality water not suitable for
Diesel Engine Cooling System causes deposits of
inorganic scales on the surfaces of heat - transfer
casings. These scales are due to hardness producing
salts in the water. Heavy incrustations of such
deposits leads to development of cracks and crevices
in heads, blocks etc. secondly continous built - up of
corrosion products in the water makes overall system
ineffective and fragile. This results further in
corrosion - oriented pittings and cavitation errosion
of the surfaces. Studies on discolouration, oil -
films, sediments and sludge in Cooling Water clearly
reveals poor - state and problem - prone conditions of
many Cooling Systems.

1.27 DELTRAN - For prevention of marine

Description :
DELTRAN ALGICIDE is a new unusual liquid treatment recommended for the control of slime, fungi and algae in cooling towers, open spray systems, evaporative condenser and recirculating water systems. Because of its high solubility in the water and biodispersant in it, distribution of active ingredients through the water systems and diffusion into slime masses take place efficiently.
Composition :
DELTRAN ALGICIDE contains inorganic & organic compounds blended to give synergistic effect for control of microbiological
foulings. It contains powerful dispersants.
Dosage :
The dosage of DELTRAN ALGICIDE for any given application will depend upon a number of factors , microbiological contamination and degree of control required. Where necessary, our service engineer will arrange for microbiological and chemical analysis, so that specific dosage & application methods can be recommended.
The dosage of DELTRAN ALGICIDE is to be given in the three stages
- Shock Dose : A strong dose (About 400
- 600ppm) of DELTRAN ALGICIDE is given in order to kill the existing aldae, as initial treatment.
- Repeat Dose :
To ensure complete destruction of algae present in the system, a dose equivalent to half the shock dose is to be given on a system, basis for 3
- 4 weeks.
- Regular Dose :
In order to prevent re- growth of algae, one fourth of shock dose is to be given once in a week.

Energy consumption in any refrigeration system is
directly proportional to its cooling efficiency. Lower
the cooling efficiency, more will be the energy
consumption. Cooling efficiency is lowered due to
various reasons such as accumulation of dirt, scales
